A. The Learning Exchange, based in Kansas City, MO, founded the first Exchange City in 1980.

Q. What is Exchange City?
A. Exchange City is a hands-on economics earning program for Middle School students.  It combines a 30 hour, (six-week) classroom curriculum with a field trip visit to a state-of-the-art city, run by students.

Q. Where is Exchange City located?
A. There are currently six Exchange City centers in the USA.

Sites include: Chicago, IL;  Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Portsmouth, NH; Memphis, TN; and Providence, RI.
